External Timer Import

Ultrak 499 Timer RunnerCalc provides an easy means to import times from an external timer. All you need is a timer that can store times and upload them to a Windows PC. A good and inexpensive example is the Ultrak 499 timer. Importing times is a huge time-saver in processing the results at the end of a race. Once you've tried it you'll never go back to a printing timer and slow, error-prone, hand-entered times.

RunnerCalc goes beyond most software in that it allows importing times from two timers--a primary and backup. The results can be compared along with known finishers and randomly recorded "selected runner numbers". The more accurate of the two sets of times can be adjusted or corrected as necessary and the results inserted into the race finish data at the push of a button.

Here's what one RunnerCalc user said:

"The direct download for the Ultrak watch is a tremendous timesaver. I recently scored a major invite completing one race before the next race was completed."
