How It Works

RunnerCalc is implemented as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that is setup to score cross country races. It is packed with formulas and macros to provide lots of power and flexibility combined with the familiarity and ease of use of Excel spreadsheet data entry. Think of it as a spreadsheet on steroids (not OK for runners, but great for spreadsheets!).

You don't need to understand cross country scoring rules. You simply select the appropriate worksheet and enter data into the indicated cells.

Before the race you enter a list of schools and a roster of runners. At the end of the race you enter (or scan) runner numbers in order and optionally enter or import times. Then you simply print or export the results. Race Finish Data Screen
  1. Enter pre-race data
  2. Enter race finish data
  3. Print/share results

It's really that easy! But RunnerCalc is packed with other features if you need them, including printing and scanning barcodes, a built-in timer or the ability to import times from an external timer, automatic dual meet scoring, and more.

Requires Microsoft Excel 2002 or later for Windows; Excel 2011 or 2016 for Mac OS.
